We’re pleased to share the latest Quarterly Results Report (January–March 2026), highlighting the continued work of PEDI’s PMU and PEP teams to support safer neighbourhoods, cleaner public spaces, and stronger pathways to employment.

This quarter reflects steady progress across multiple areas of community impact — from skills training and waste collection to safety patrols and infrastructure reporting.

Skills That Build Opportunity

Our Job Journey and SkillWise programmes continued to provide essential work-readiness and digital skills training to local residents. During the quarter:

  • 205 trainees participated in training

  • 189 trainees graduated, achieving a strong 92% completion rate

  • Participation increased compared to the same period in 2025

These programmes remain a cornerstone of our efforts to help individuals build confidence, gain practical skills, and move closer to employment opportunities.

Cleaner Streets, Healthier Communities

Cleaning teams continued to make a visible difference across Philippi.

  • 3,700 waste bags were collected by PMU Waste Ambassadors in Philippi East Industria

  • 47,532 waste bags were collected by PEP Cleaning Teams across multiple wards

  • Recycling efforts continued, with bottles, plastics, and paper separated from landfill waste

These daily efforts help create cleaner, healthier environments that support both community wellbeing and economic activity.

Supporting Service Delivery

Our PEP Survey Team continued to identify and report infrastructure challenges through the City’s C3 system.

  • 428 service requests were logged during the quarter

  • Common issues included stormwater flooding, electricity faults, road maintenance, and sanitation concerns

By capturing and reporting these issues, our teams help ensure that local needs are visible and addressed.

Strengthening Safety Visibility

Safety teams remained active across the precinct, supporting municipal services and increasing visibility along key routes.

  • 112 safety escort deployments supported service providers

  • 633 foot patrols were conducted along major roads

  • Crime reporting continued to inform ongoing safety planning

These activities help strengthen confidence and improve safety across key areas of Philippi.

Moving Forward Together

This quarter’s results demonstrate the power of coordinated action and consistent effort. From training new job-seekers to maintaining cleaner streets and supporting safer public spaces, these achievements reflect the daily work of dedicated teams serving the Philippi community.
